  • Building Change Through Global Alliances

From TM Forum to UTA, and beyond — our team is actively engaged in leading international associations to bring you the best frameworks, insights, and ecosystems.

Our strategic partners

At Caspera-Lab, we believe that telecom and urban transformation can only succeed within a strong ecosystem.

This is why we have built long-term partnerships with two internationally recognized organizations:

  • TM Forum, the global alliance that brings together operators and vendors to develop open standards and maturity models (DMM, ANLET, etc.).

  • Urban Technology Alliance, a worldwide network of cities and innovators experimenting with next-generation smart solutions.

These partnerships are not symbolic: our teams have been actively contributing for years. Christian Maitre, founder of Caspera-Lab, is Leader of the Digital Maturity Model 5 – Data Governance and founder of the Autonomous Network project within TM Forum.

Why does this matter for our clients?

  • You benefit from internationally recognized tools and frameworks already adopted by leading operators and cities worldwide.

  • You gain access to an open innovation ecosystem: start-ups, cities, regulators, operators — all ready to co-create with you.

  • You stay ahead of the curve: our contributions to global standards ensure that your projects are aligned with best practices and future-proofed.

By choosing Caspera-Lab, you leverage not only our expertise, but also the strength of a global network that accelerates your outcomes and secures your investments.

Caspera-Lab & TM Forum : A Decade of Leadership and Innovation

The TM Forum is the world’s leading global industry association for telecom operators, technology providers, and digital ecosystem players, bringing together over 850 member organizations representing CSPs, hyperscalers, software vendors, and consultancies. Caspera-Lab has been an active and recognized member for more than a decade, playing a key leadership role in shaping the industry’s strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps. We have been leaders, co-leaders, or founders of major TM Forum initiatives, including the Digital Maturity Model (DMM) from version 1 to version 5, the Data Governance Project (White Paper v1), and the Autonomous Networks (AN) program, which we co-founded in 2018 and where we authored the first white paper. We also led the creation of the Smart City Maturity Model and pioneered the City as a Platform concept, defining how operators can enable urban digital ecosystems. Caspera-Lab has driven numerous Catalyst programs — from smart cities and connected citizens to Autonomous Networks (Hyperloops), leading six full seasons of innovation. As an official service provider for TM Forum’s DMM practice, we support CSPs worldwide in assessing and accelerating their transformation journeys. Over the past decade, our contributions have been recognized with multiple TM Forum Innovation Awards, reflecting our ongoing commitment to shaping the future of telecom and digital ecosystems.

Caspera-Lab & UTA : Driving Sustainable and Digital Transformation for Cities

Since joining the Urban Technology Alliance (UTA) a year ago, Caspera-Lab has been an active partner, supporting global cities and territories in their digital and sustainable transformation journeys. Through this partnership, we provide expert insights and recommendations to UTA members, particularly during the initial stages of their digital maturity assessments, helping them evaluate their readiness and identify strategic priorities. Our contribution includes free first-level analyses, online or on-site consultations, dedicated webinars, where we share our expertise on smart cities, sustainability, data-driven governance, and citizen engagement. While we make our methodologies and frameworks available at a strategic level, the most advanced assessments and tailored advisory services can be delivered through specific proposals. Together, we help cities, territories, and communities accelerate their transition toward smarter, greener, and more inclusive urban ecosystems.
