  • Telefonica eyeing asset sales + M&A to reshape presence in Europe: New CEO Marc Murtra is reportedly exploring selling off Latin American units (Argentina, Uruguay, etc.) to free up ~€3.6B for acquisitions in Europe (Germany, UK, Spain, Brazil), pushing for relaxed EU rules on telecom consolidation.
